2024 - Creation and Nativity Plays

The York Mystery Plays Supporters Trust, launched in 2012 by local performers in that Museum Gardens production, describes the Plays as "a jewel of York's literary history and culture". Members support any production of the York Mystery Plays, including a play at the four-yearly wagon Pageant, and produce their own events.
In summer 2024 three plays, each directed by a different director, were performed in three venues. The Creation of the World in St Columba's Priory; the Fall of Man in Holy Trinity Micklegate; Cain and Abel in St Martin's Micklegate. Respectively the Directors were Katie Smith, Dan Norman and Isobel Staton. Below are images from each location.
