A 70 page illustrated description of the 1909 pageant in Museum Gardens.  Explains the scenes, has some colour images and a large number of black and white photographs of actors.  Also black and white photographs of the Committee members eg Lord Mayor, Aldermen,  Louis N Parker, Lord Wenlock, Committee Secretaries.  At front and back contains many commercial adverts, eg linens, restaurrants, saddles, furniture.  Quite a high proportion are Harrogate (and some Leeds and Scarborough) companies, not only York.  In text compares London unfavourably with York because so much of London's ancient history has vanished.

The archive also has a publication with the names and partial addresses of all the cast and musicians, over 1000 people, see this page.  The archive also has the script of the 1909 Historic Pageant, which includes a scene from the Mystery Plays, the Shepherds. and their song.
