Below for comparison is a scanned photo from 1951, with John van Eyssen tempting Joyce Rankin. Sadly the photographer cut off the actors' feet!
Eve
(Christie Barnes) has been tempted, in the Minster production in 2016.
Below right is a scene performed in Holy Trinity Church, Micklegate, in June 2024. The snake is held up by Lucifer, behind Adam and Eve. Eve was tempted by the snake.
