Description: York Festival Trust and the Guilds of York performed the plays on wagons on 13 and 20 July 2014 - see this page. On 25 May the Presentation of the Billets was performed by the Lord Mayor of York - asking the Guilds of York to produce the plays. This photograph by Lewis Outing is in the Merchant Adventurers' Hall, Fossgate, with Lord Mayor Ian Gillies (centre, in black) and Guild Masters. The Mercers and Merchants generally performed the play of The Last Judgement.

The twelve plays were:
1 Creation of the World to the Fifth Day - the York Guild of Building
2 The Fall of Man - the Guild of Freemen in partnership with Canon Lee School
3 The Shepherds - the Guild of Scriveners
4 The Slaughter of the Innocents - Heslington Church
5 The Baptism of Christ - HIDden Theatre, director Laura Rice, with Ehren Mierau as Christ
6 The Woman taken in Adultery and The Raising of Lazarus, combined into one play - York St John University with Charlie Johnston as Christ
7 Christ's Entry into Jerusalem - York Mystery Plays Supporters Trust, with Laurence O'Reilly as Christ.
8 Christ before Annas and Caiaphas - the Company of Cordwainers, in partnership with York Settlement Community Players:

11 The Resurrection - The Company of Merchant Taylors, with a cast under the directorship of Lindsay Ibbotson
12 The Last Judgement (below) - The Company of Merchant Adventurers, in partnership with Pocklington School, with Hugh Stubbins as Christ.
