Description: Scrapbook made and donated by Eileen Skaife from 1960, containing material from the Mystery Plays production of that year.
The photograph was taken by a Guardian photographer, during rehearsals. The scrapbook also contains cuttings about the visit of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, who saw an evening performance of the Plays.
Below, Adam and Eve (Peter Brett and Bernice Stewart) are with Satan (Harold Lang), who is rebuked by an Angel. A colour photo which has been identified as Harold Lang
