The NCEM has a small collection of photograph albums donated by Mystery Play supporters. They are collected in the archive database under category YMP\M. 2000 is the best year, when we have albums by Linda Terry, mostly backstage, and by John Roden. In 1969 Patrick Olsen took and mounted a set of photographs individually. We also hold some invaluable scrapbooks, which also include programmes, cuttings and memorabilia.
The Archive received a copy from the estate of composer Richard Shephard of a 2016 album, of the highest quality photographs on stage in full costume. It includes press coverage, Tweets and other compliments and was probably compiled for cast members.

Until 1969, all the programmes informed audiences that photographs were not permitted. Photographs in colour are very rare, even in the 1960s.
