2026 Wagon Plays
Ten Plays were produced on wagons in York on Sunday 28 June and 5 July 2026, convened by York Festival Trust, chaired by Roger Lee. The performances were in the Minster Refectory Gardens; King's Square; St Sampson's Square; and Dean's Park. In addition a selection of Plays were performed in the Shambles Market on 30 June and 1 July. The Pageant Master was Alan Heaven. A full cast list is in this page of the Archive.

Doomsday, with the Coronation of Mary. Music was supplied by York waits, Doncaster Waits, Gloucester Waits, Leeds Waits, Colchester Waits, Worcester Waits, De Mowbrays Musicke, d'Bosch, the Taborers Society.
