Description: Programmes for 1963 Mystery Plays production. The cover was the same design as it had been since 1951, without illustrations. For the cast list, search 1963 Cast. Here are two recently located images of Alan Dobie playing Jesus that year.
One of the people who donated a programme to the NCEM was a schoolgirl who volunteered to be a steward. The Front of House Manager, R V Rodger, wrote to thank her and invite her to the dress rehearsal on 13 June. He also sent her a steward's pass, scanned, below. At that point Museum Gardens were not open to the public.
